The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT) is one of the most sought-after engineering streams at the institute. Established in 2012, the department has been committed to academic excellence, research, and innovation. With a sanctioned intake of 60 students per year, it continues to nurture aspiring engineers and equip them with industry-relevant skills.
The department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, modern computing facilities, and an expert faculty team to deliver quality education in line with the B.Tech curriculum of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.
