IEEE MSIT Student Branch and Student Branch Chapters
The IEEE MSIT Student Branch and IEEE EDS MSIT Student Branch Chapters were established in the year 2015 by faculty members and students of the ECE Department. In the following year, the Department founded IEEE COMSOC MSIT Student Branch Chapter. The setting up of the two Student Branch Chapters in this department have not only created new opportunities for research collaboration within and across the institute but has also provided avenues for new research areas for graduated students seeking admission for higher studies after graduation. The student chapters have organized many technical talks, Distinguished Lecture Talks, seminars, workshops, Mini colloquium, alumni talks and so on for the benefit of students. The IEEE EDS MSIT Student Branch Chapter has already organized International Conferences, project competitions and many other technical programs. The IEEE COMSOC MSIT Student Branch Chapter has also organized Industry-Academia meet along with other technical activities. Eminent Professors of leading Universities in India and abroad have visited the institute to deliver talks under IEEE banner. Also many senior industrialists have been invited by the student chapters to share their expertise and knowledge on cutting-edge technologies.
